What instruments do The Moon Units offer?
Our core band features guitar, keyboard, bass, and drums, plus our amazing singers who also host live band karaoke. If you want to scale up, we offer a horn section (trumpet, trombone, saxophone), violin/fiddle, harp, Latin percussion, additional singers, and DJ services.
Do The Moon Units do things besides live band karaoke?
Yes! Our band has the best lead singers in town, and we get a lot of work as a cover band (no karaoke). We also have an alter ego: a comedy glam rock band led by the fictional character Roger Wodehouse. Roger and The Moon Units have played back-to-back at the same parties!
Do The Moon Units provide a sound system?
The Moon Units provide a PA system and stage lighting as needed. We do not provide a stage, but we do not require one to perform. All we require is a clean, dry, dedicated performance space and adequate electrical power.

You may always bring us a competitor's offer, and we will do our best to match it. There are cheaper bands, but they don't have our massive song list, our flexible ensemble, or our musical talent. There are pricey bands with commissioned sales teams -- but for all the flash, they won't beat us in terms of actual music. Bring us a written quote, and if we can match it, we absolutely will.
